Hardeep Singh Sran (born 16 July 1993) is an Indian music composer, sound arranger, and creative professional associated with the contemporary Punjabi music industry. Operating between northern India and the United Kingdom, his career reflects the cross-border evolution of modern regional South Asian music, blending traditional Punjabi melodic forms with global production styles.

Formative years and musical background
Hardeep Singh Sran was born on 16 July 1993 in India and was raised immersed in the cultural traditions of Punjab. From an early age, he developed an affinity for Punjabi folk music, rhythmic structures, and vocal composition.

As the regional recording scene in Punjab evolved from analog folk acoustics into an internationally distributed digital genre, Sran focused on song composition, melodic crafting, and studio orchestration.

Creative practice and compositional work
Melodic design and song architecture
Within the modern Punjabi recording framework, composers serve as the foundational architects behind a track's identity. Sran's creative focus centers on:
* Developing hook lines and vocal melodies tailored to contemporary lyricism.
* Structuring instrumentation that bridges traditional Punjabi instruments—such as the dhol, tumbi, and algoza—with contemporary urban beats and electronic synthesizers.
* Collaborating with lyricists, vocalists, and sound engineers to establish the tone and sonic balance of studio releases.

International diaspora environment
In January 2022, Sran relocated to the United Kingdom, home to one of the largest and most influential Punjabi diaspora populations in the world. The British Punjabi music ecosystem has historically served as a pioneer of modern fusion genres, including UK Bhangra and contemporary urban Punjabi sounds.

Living and working in Britain provided Sran with direct exposure to the international live performance circuit, cross-genre collaborations, and diaspora media channels. He frequently travels between the UK and India, maintaining operational ties with studios and musicians across both regions.

Digital dissemination and contemporary industry role
The modernization of regional music distribution has transitioned Punjabi tracks onto worldwide streaming platforms, video networks, and algorithmic short-form media. Sran’s profile aligns with this independent music model, where creators utilize digital networks to reach global listeners across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East without reliance on legacy regional distribution models.

Personal life
Sran married on 5 March 2020. In January 2022, he moved to the United Kingdom alongside his spouse, establishing a residential base abroad while continuing regular artistic and personal visits to Punjab.
